Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi Museum  (พิพิธภัณฑ์พระยารัษฎานุประดิษฐ์มหิศรภักดี)

The 2 stories wood house which before was a Trang governor resident house, Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi(Kosimby Na Ranong). He built this house on a small slope and the building was a blue two stories, Panya style. The house has decks in all sides to catch the wind, in the shady green area. Most people in the town called this house “Naikhuan”  and the owner called it “Khuan Ratchada”

After Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi has passed, the house then was belonged to heir. Later Kantang School and other government offices asked the family to use this house. Dato’ Beanjong Na Ranong converted the house into a museum to exhibit Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi’s life and works. The exhibits include wax figure, personal stuff. There are also 100 year old photos that show important event that happened in Trang  and other southern cities in Rama XI reign. You will also see old photos of Na Ra Nong ancestor and family members.

Kantang Railway Station  (สถานีรถไฟกันตัง)
 

Kantang railway station is a railway station located in Kantang Subdistrict, Kantang District, Trang. The station is located 850.082 km (528.2 mi) from Thon Buri railway station. This station is the terminus of the Kantang Branch Line. The station building has not been renovated and therefore has retained the original wood designs. The building is separated into two parts: the main building and the verandah (platform), in which both are painted mustard yellow lined in dark brown, a unique feature of the station, including the incorporated 'Love Station', an air-conditioned coffee shop with photogenically popular exterior. Kantang Station's architecture has been preserved and registered under the Fine Arts Department. Well visible from an approach by road, stands a once modern type passenger train permanently exhibited, behind the normal tracks as seen from the station building.

This station opened in April 1913 for the Southern Line section Huai Yot-Kantang. In the past the line was extended further about 500 meters to Kantang Port, so cargo from international trade with Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia could be transported by rail. The section has ceased operations since the 1960s and route been dismantled.

Tam Kong Yea Shrine  (ศาลเจ้าท่ามกงเยี่ย)

Local people call this “Rong Pra Tam Kong Yea” is the 120 year old Chinese shrine that been around with Trang for very long time. This shrine is respected by local people and people from cities close by. Tam Kong Yea Shrine is famous for sacredness and many people said that they got what they wished and asked for. Because of spreading from word of mouth, people from around Thailand to make a wish here for successful in work, love, health and others. The shrine is surrounded by water and shady green trees

Koh Kradan Island  (เกาะกระดาน)
 

The Island that has the most stunning beach in Trang. Located in Hat Chao Mai National Park and some part of private property and its shape looks like 5 mountains line up together. The most impressive feature if the island is the crystal-clear water, clear enough that we can see the sand underneath, coral reef and many kinds of fishes swimming freely. There are 4 beached that you can swim, Koh Kradan beach, Ao Chong Lom beach, Ao Muang beach and Ao Pai beach which is the best spot for sunset and best for swimming.

In the north if the island, you can see long line of coral reef stretch in the water almost 100 Rai. You can just slowly walk on the powder soft sand or just enjoy photographing to keep your perfect moment. The beach front here is the best view for sun rise and just in front of you are Koh Muk, Koh Cheuk,Koh Waen and Koh Ma line up until Ko Hi. The tourists are very impressed with this view. Other name of Koh Kradan is Love island because it has been chosen to hold underwater wedding continue very year. You can just take a day trip or stay overnight at Department of National Parks’ lodging or stay at luxury hotels that are also available there.  You can reach Koh Kradan by speedy boat from Kaun Tung Ku and it takes only 1 hour to get there. You cannot miss Koh Kradan, if you visit Trang.

Koh Ma Island- Koh Cheuk Island – Koh Waen Island (เกาะม้า-เกาะเชือก-เกาะแหวน)

These 3 small islands are standing in the middle of Trang’s sea and surrounded by Koh Muk and Koh Kradan. This is one of the famous spot for snorkeling and diving where you can see spectacular underwater world. The water is so clear that you can easily see variety many kinds of fishes like Parrot fishes, clown fishes, Banner fishes, Angle fishes and Siamese tiger fishes. The coral reef there have 7 colors and even you are not professional diving person you can experience this as well. These 3 islands don’t have a beach or resident so you cannot stay overnight there. You can reach there by take a boat at Pak Meng pier and it’s only 12 kilometers from the pier to the islands.

Koh Lao Liang Island  (เกาะเหลาเหลียง)
 

Visit this island you will see 100 meters tall natural limestone mountains. Before here was the close area because it was the bird's nest concession. Because of that, this island can keep it natural charm with white sand, clear water and flawless coral reef. Underwater full variety kinds of colorful fishes and special kind of coral that hard to find. Koh open of visitors on 6 months per year. You must plan if you want to come.
 

You can reach hear by take boat at Had Yao pier and it’s about 22 kilometers. Takes 35-40 minutes by speed boat and 1.30 hour by regular boat

Koh Muk Island - Morakot Cave  (เกาะมุก-ถ้ำมรกต)

This is the bestselling attraction in Trang and its reputation spread out all over the world. This place is the gem of a sea and it was acclaimed as one of an unseen Thailand tourist attraction. Koh is a big island in Trang’s sea and most of the landscape is a rock cliff and the side of the island is a fisherman village. Morakot Cave which is in the middle of the sea also counted as part Koh Muk.
 

To get in to Morakot cave, you must swim from the entrance and pass through the dark tunnel that stretch around 80 meters. After the that you will find the hidden beauty inside. Amazing emerald green water is there! Its unique beauty cannot find anywhere else to compare.

You can visit Morakot cave only in the low tide and this is a must go if you visit Trang.
 

You can get to Koh Muk and Morakot cave by boat at Pakmeng pier. The whole boat service is 1500 baht per day and it takes 40 minutes to get there. Or you can take a boat bus at Kuan Tung Ku, it costs 40 baht per person and takes about 1 hour to get there.

Tham Le Khao Kob Cave  (ถ้ำเลเขากอบ)
 

Tham Le Khao Kob cave is also one of Thailand unseen attraction. This cave is under a big mountain and has a stream flow through all the time. Inside is huge bright clean and beautiful with stalactites and stalagmites. There are many caves inside, but tourists can visit only 5 caves.

The most fascinating one is Lod Hari. To get inside this cave you must start with row the small flat boat inside. The most exciting part is when you must lay flat on the boat to pass the lowest part of the cave that take about 800 meters length. And some points your face and your body will almost touch the cave wall, but this will be an unforgettable scene. You can visit Tham Le Khao Kob all year long except when it’s raining too hard and water level is too high to pass. Open hour is 8.00 – 18.00

Hat Chao Mai National Park  (อุทยานแห่งชาติหาดเจ้าไหม)
 

Many Trang’s tourist attractions are gather here. It’s about 27 kilometers far from the downtown and then turn left and drive 7 kilometers along the beach you will reach Hat Chao Mai National Park. Here you will find natural attractions both in land and underwater that remain flawless. The national park total area takes about 100,00 Rai where you can find caves, hot spring, beaches and islands where you can do snorkeling or diving. Famous islands to experience underwater world are Koh Kradan, Koh Muk, Koh Cheuk, Yong Ling beach, Yao beach and Sun beach.
 

Yong Lam cape is a white sand beach with natural Australian pine tree. Chao Mai beach has a unique signature from the mountain behind that looks like a shark mast. There is a lot of grass sea on the beach so many sea cows live there. Pak Meng beach is named “Gate to Trang” because piers where can transfer to islands locate here. Chang Lang beach where the national park office locates, has a wide beach and good for swimming. If you like an adventure, you should go to Chao Mai cave. For those who are health conscious, you must visit Khuan Dang hot spring. You can stay overnight s well, there are national park lodgings available and a big peaceful area for camping as well.

You don’t have to worry about food, there are restaurant with great seafood and also convenience store available for tourists. The national park opens all year but the islands are closed during rainy and storm season between July to September.
