You can present your ID document to have a new passbook issued at any SCB branch for a new passbook issuance fee of 100 baht.

I want to update my personal information, such as mobile phone number, mailing address, etc. What should I do?

You can present your ID document and passbook (for an account with a physical passbook) for identity authentication to have your personal information updated at any SCB branch.

I want to freeze my account/bank card. What should I do?

You can call the SCB Call Center at 02-777-7777 and then press 1.

How can I request account-related documents?

Customers may request account-related documents Details are outlined below.

Copy of the Account Information Page of an e-Passbook Savings Account
A copy of the account information page of an e-Passbook Savings account can be obtained through the following two channels free of charge:
SCB Branch
• Present your valid ID document at any SCB branch.
SCB EASY App
• Select "Other Services"
• Select "Request Account Information Page"
• Choose "Save" or "Share" to another platform
• Select "Save as PDF" or "Save as Image" as you wish

Withholding Tax Certificate for Deposit Interest
A Withholding Tax Certificate for Deposit Interest can be requested through the following two channels free of charge:
SCB Branch
• For passbook accounts: Present your valid ID document and passbook at any SCB branch.
• For e-Passbook or Online Accounts: Present your valid ID document at any SCB branch.
SCB Call Center
• Contact the SCB Call Center at 02-777-7777.
The certificate will be sent to your email address within 1 business day after your request is submitted.

Statement of Financial Position (for Visa Applications and/or Overseas Study Purposes)
A Statement of Financial Position may be requested for visa applications and/or overseas study purposes. The fee is THB 100 per copy.

The document can be requested through the following two channels:
SCB Branch
• For passbook accounts: Present your valid ID document and passbook at any SCB branch.
• For e-Passbook or Online Accounts: Present your valid ID document at any SCB branch.
SCB Call Center
• Contact the SCB Call Center at 02-777-7777.
The document will be delivered by registered mail within 3–4 business days.

Account Statements
Customers holding SCB deposit accounts may request account statements for Savings Accounts, Fixed Deposit Accounts, Current Accounts, and Long-Term Deposit Accounts at any SCB branch.

Paper Statement
Statement covering the past 12 months or less: THB 100 per account per request
Statement for a period beyond the past 12 months: THB 200 per account per request

Electronic Statement (e-Statement)
Statement covering the past 12 months or less: No fee
Statement for a period beyond the past 12 months: THB 100 per account per request
• For passbook accounts: Present your valid ID document and passbook at any SCB branch.
• For e-Passbook or Online Accounts: Present your valid ID document at any SCB branch.

e-Statement via the SCB Easy Application 
Customers can request an electronic account statement (e-Statement) via the SCB EASY App by following these steps:
1. Select “My Accounts”
2. Select the deposit account for which you wish to request a statement.
3. Select “Other Services”
4. Select “Request e-Statement”
5. Select the desired statement period
6. Tap “Submit Request”
7. The e-Statement will be sent to your registered email address. You may check the email address registered in the SCB EASY App to confirm where the document will be delivered.



I want to close a savings account. What should I do?

You can present your ID document and passbook to close your savings account at any SCB branch.

Why does a savings or current account become dormant?

A savings or current account is classified as dormant when there has been no account activity for 12 consecutive months.

How to change the status of my savings/current account from Dormant to Active?

At an SCB branch

· You can present your ID document and passbook (for an account with a physical passbook) to make a transaction at any SCB branch.


At any ATM of any bank

· Make a withdrawal, fund transfer, or payment transaction with your ATM or debit card at the ATM.


SCB Easy Application/SCB Easy Net

· Make a transaction via the SCB Easy Application/SCB Easy Net.

After making a transaction, your account status will be updated to Active on the following day.

When are account maintenance fees charged?

Savings Account
• An account maintenance fee of THB 50 per month will be charged if there has been no account activity for 12 consecutive months and the account balance is THB 2,000 or less.

Current Account
• An account maintenance fee of THB 100 per month will be charged if there has been no account activity for 12 consecutive months and the account balance is THB 2,000 or less.
