- Monthly special points are calculated based on transactions billed and recorded by the Bank in the credit card statement.
- The transactions which are not subject to M Point consists of spending on gas at gas stations around the world, interest, fine, fee, funds purchase, tax, registration auction, cash advance (including Dee Jung Transfer), water, electricity, unpaid SCB Dee Jung monthly payment, as well as foreign currency purchase.
- M Point is valid for 3 years from the year of service or product purchase. The Company will process points at the end of the calendar year.
- The applied terms and conditions are as specified by the Bank and the Department Stores.
- Since 1 Nov 2019, SCB has changed conditions for giving M point as the following categories:
- M point from spending at non-The Mall Group supermarkets/hypermarkets
- SCB Rewards from spending at supermarkets/hypermarkets and gas stations
Total spending for point calculation in the categories defined above allowed up to 100,000 baht/customer/month.
Remark:
Supermarket/hypermarket category are the shops that have the following MCC code (as specific in VISA and Mastercard Merchant Category Code): 5300, 5310, 5331, 5411, 5422, 5451, 5499, 9751.
Gas station category are shops that have the following MCC code (as specific in VISA and Mastercard Merchant Category Code): 5541, 5542, 9752.
Supermarket in The Mall Group are Gourmet Market and Home Fresh Mart.
- M Point Reward at registered merchants or online shopping in the EEA* countries
Effective from 1st April 2020, customers using SCB M credit cards at registered merchants or online shopping in the EEA* countries still enjoy full M Point when paying in foreign currencies. This excludes paying in Thai Baht.
*Countries belonging to the EEA include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland (including Aland Islands), France (including Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion, Saint Barthelemy, and Mayotte), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal (including Azores and Madeira), Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (including Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla), Sweden, United Kingdom (including Gibraltar), Liechtenstein and Iceland (including Svalbard and Jan Mayen).
