To enhance the security for the use of SCB EASY App, the customers are required to verify identity by using face recognition when making the following transactions through SCB EASY App:

  1. Funds transfer/top up/bill payment transaction equal to or greater than 50,000 Baht/time (excluding transfer to "OWN SCB") or transaction that reaches the per-transaction limit set by the customer to require identity verification by using face recognition.
  2. Funds transfer/top up/bill payment transaction which the total amount reaches every 200,000 Baht/day (excluding transfer to "OWN SCB") or transaction that reaches the per-day limit set by the customer to require identity verification by using face recognition.
  3. Adjustment of a funds transfer/top up/bill payment limit to be 50,000 Baht or greater (excluding transfer to "OWN SCB") and/or adjustment of the limit for transaction requiring identity verification by using face recognition.

Effective from 20 June 2026 onwards

Starting from today, customers may visit any Bank's branch to register their facial photo by bringing identification card.
