Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) fosters environmental awareness among young people by encouraging them to care for the environment and increase green spaces in Bangkok. Under the bank’s “One Tree for the World, One Tree for Us” initiative, SCB partnered with the Big Trees Foundation to organize a “Risk Assessment and Survey of Trees in Chatuchak Park” activity. This event involved 30 volunteer high school students and teachers from Prachaniwet School, Bangkok. Arborists from the Big Trees Foundation led the activity, providing knowledge on tree risk assessment, surveying, and recording tree details to create a tree care database and educate participants about the various tree species in the park. Following the activity, SCB distributed tree saplings to the students to plant at home, further contributing to green spaces and oxygen production.
