Siam Commercial Bank presents public donations via Siam Commercial Foundation to aid bile duct cancer surgery initiative

 

               Siam Commercial Bank has continuously supported the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation of Thailand (CCA) in combatting liver flukes and bile duct cancer for the sustainable well-being of communities in Northeastern Thailand. In an expression of that support, the Bank recently presented a donation of 200,000 baht to support surgery and treatment for cholangiocarcinoma patients. This donation originated from funds collected through the "Siam Commercial Foundation for the Cholangiocarcinoma Surgery Project" account. During a ceremony at Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Medicine, Mr. Nithiwat Phatsiriwit, Senior Vice President and Area Manager of the Khon Kaen Area Office, along with members of the Branch Distribution Network - Northeast Function, represented the Bank as they handed over the donation to Dr. Ruengsin Thuennadee, President of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation of Thailand. For eight consecutive years, Siam Commercial Bank has been actively involved in raising awareness and encouraging donations to the cause. Over this period, a total of 221 patients have benefited from the opportunity to undergo critical surgeries.
