SCBX Group, through Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), in collaboration with the Royal Thai Air Force, continues its commitment to enhancing community well-being by providing access to clean water for consumption. The initiative, titled “Clean Water from the Heart of SCB,” is part of a long-running project to supply clean water for better living conditions, now in its 12th consecutive year.

This year’s efforts include the installation of two 2,000-liter drinking water tanks, a water filtration system, supporting infrastructure, and a solar cell system to generate electricity for pumping water into the filtration system at Wat Mai Nopparat School, Tambon Noen Phrapang, Amphoe Song Phi Nong, Suphan Buri. Additionally, solar cell systems were installed to power water pumps for the community water supply systems in Community Moo. 1 and Community Moo. 2 of Tambon Noen Phrapang.

SCB representatives included Mr. Saksit Pitipongsoonthorn, FSVP, in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility, and Mr. Saichol Asadornsak, Business and Customer Relations Manager (Song Phi Nong Branch). Representing the Royal Thai Air Force were Air Vice Marshal Tanased Thamamnuaykij, Commandant of the Flying Training School, and Group Captain Jarin Prapsripoom, Deputy Director of the Office of Policy and Planning, Directorate of Civil Affairs.

This initiative not only provides clean drinking water to teachers, students, and nearby communities but also helps reduce expenses on bottled water and electricity costs for water pumping and filtration. As part of the event, reading corners and reusable water bottles were also provided for students.

Over the course of the project, more than 70,000 individuals have gained access to clean drinking water, reflecting SCBX Group’s ongoing dedication to sustainable community development.
