Customer can buy-sell gold online and conveniently make payments for buying gold and receive proceeds from selling gold through e-FCD Account via Hua Seng Heng’s USD GOLD TRADE App.

  1. Open an e-FCD Account via SCB EASY App. Make a deposit in USD in accordance with the procedure as prescribed by the Bank.
  2. Connect your e-FCD Account with Hua Seng Heng’s USD GOLD TRADE App in accordance with the procedure as prescribed by the Bank.
  3. Now you are set to start buying and selling gold on the USD GOLD TRADE App, make payments for buying gold and receive proceeds from selling gold through e-FCD Account. See how to buy and sell gold on the Hua Seng Heng website.

Notes:

  • *Special interest rate of up to 5.00% per year only for USD currency deposits made between 1 August 2026 to 31 December 2026, as follows:
    • For the amount not exceeding USD 25,000, earn interest at 0.05% per year.
    • For the amount exceeding USD 25,000 but not exceeding USD 100,000, earn special interest at 4.95% per year, totaling 5.00% per year.
    • For the amount exceeding USD 100,000, earn special interest at 0.45% per year, totaling 0.50% per year.
  • From 1 January 2070, a standard interest rate of 0.05% per year will be applied, regardless of the deposit amount.
  • Average interest rates are between 0.05%- 5.00% per year. The calculation of the average interest rate depends on the customer’s deposit amount.
  • Deposit interest rates for GBP, EUR, SGD, CNY, JPY and HKD vary according to the rates as prescribed by the Bank. Please study and view more details at the Bank’s website.
  • **Account maintenance fee will be waived for e-FCD Account in USD, GBP, EUR, SGD and CNY from 28 February 2025 onwards and for e-FCD Account in JPY and HKD from 17 October 2025 onwards, until further notice of the Bank.
  • The Bank reserves the right to change deposit interest rates and other conditions as prescribed by the Bank.
  • Savings in an e-FCD Account are subject to foreign exchange rate risks. The amount received in Thai Baht may be lower than the original principal deposited. In addition, although the customer may receive interest in a foreign currency in accordance with the conditions of the e-FCD Account, the return amount received in Thai Baht may be lower than the interest rate prescribed by the Bank. Customers should review important product information and conditions before making a decision.
  • Customer cannot use and/or make transactions through e-FCD Account for the purpose of speculating on foreign exchange rates.
  • The use of e-FCD Account and/or execution of transactions through e-FCD Account shall be in accordance with the conditions prescribed by the Bank of Thailand.
