The Welcome Savings Account is a digital savings account offered to new SCB customers, or individuals who have never held an SCB savings or current account (Thai nationality only). Eligible customers can open the account via the SCB EASY App and choose their preferred account number. It is ideal for customers who are looking for a savings account that offers attractive interest rates while maintaining easy access to their funds.
Yes. If you do not currently hold an SCB savings or current account, you may apply for a Welcome Savings Account via the SCB EASY App.
Yes. If you have never held an SCB savings or current account, you may open a Welcome Savings Account, even if you already use other SCB products or services, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
The Welcome Savings Account can only be opened via the SCB EASY App version 3.108 or later. During the account opening process, you can also select your preferred account number.
Each customer may open one (1) Welcome Savings Account only.
Yes. You can select an account number suggested by the system or search for your preferred account number by entering at least four digits to view available account numbers.
Available account numbers are subject to availability at the time of your search. If your preferred number is unavailable, we recommend trying a different number combination.
Once your account has been successfully opened, SCB will send an account opening confirmation email along with the electronic account information page to the email address registered with the Bank.
Yes. The Welcome Savings Account can be used for transactions via SCB's banking channels in the same way as an Online Savings Account opened via the SCB EASY App.
