SCB Announces an Additional Special Bank Holiday in Bangkok on Friday, 16 October 2026

In accordance with the Bank of Thailand's announcement regarding preparations for the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings, scheduled to take place from 12 October 2026 to 18 October 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, SCB will observe an additional special bank holiday in the Bangkok area on Friday, 16 October 2026.

• Branches in Bangkok (except those located in shopping malls) will be closed.
• Branches in other provinces and Greater Bangkok (vicinity/provinces surrounding Bangkok) will operate as usual under some restrictions.

For your convenience, please plan your transactions in advance. You may conduct transactions on 15 October 2026 or 19 October 2026 by submitting instructions/documents within the applicable cut-off times for each service.
