SCBX Group, through SCB, Delivers Relief Bags to Support Soldiers and Affected Communities at the Thai-Cambodian Border
The SCBX Group, through Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), extended heartfelt support from the rear lines to the front lines by delivering 150 relief bags to soldiers bravely defending Thailand’s sovereignty along the Thai-Cambodian border. In collaboration with Wing 21 of the Royal Thai Air Force, the relief bags were handed over via the 6th Infantry Regiment in Ubon Ratchathani and distributed to Phu Makhua in Sisaket and Chong Bok in Ubon Ratchathani.
Mr. Saksit Pitipongsoonthorn, First Senior Vice President in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility at SCB, represented the SCBX Group in presenting the relief bags to Captain Chayan Makhaphut, Survey Officer of the 6th Infantry Regiment.
Previously, 550 relief bags were delivered to Air Marshal Narat Boonprasert, Director of Civil Affairs, the Royal Thai Air Force, and transported via Wing 21. The handover was facilitated by Group Captain Puk Boonyavej, Commander of Wing 21, and Ms. Ubonrat Koonsawat, Deputy Regional Manager of Ubon Ratchathani, SCB. These supplies were intended to aid civilians affected by the situation and relocated to temporary shelters in Ubon Ratchathani.
Additionally, the SCB Ubon Ratchathani and Nakhon Ratchasima Regional Offices provided essential consumer goods worth 100,000 baht to support urgent needs of displaced individuals at temporary shelters in Surin, Sisaket, Ubon Ratchathani, and Buriram.
