SCBX Group and Royal Thai Air Force Collaborate to Enhance Youth Well-being Through a Farm for Lunch Initiative

The SCBX Group, through Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), has partnered with Wing 5 of the Royal Thai Air Force to launch a community-driven agricultural initiative aimed at improving the quality of life for youth. The project, titled “SCB, Let’s Do Good: Farming Plots and Mushroom Houses for School Lunches,” was held at Whakhorwittayalai School in Tambon Bo Nok Subdistrict, Amphoe Muang, Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Aligned with the principles of a sufficiency economy, the initiative empowers students by providing access to nutritious food sources and hands-on agricultural learning. The program helps students develop practical farming skills that can be applied in their daily lives, fostering self-reliance and sustainability.

Wing Commander Pirapong Kongnawang, Head of Civil Affairs and Public Relations at Wing 5, and Mr. Montree Kaewboworn, SCB Prachuap Khiri Khan Branch Manager, led a team of military personnel and SCB volunteers in executing the project. This activity builds upon a previous initiative where water tanks and filtration systems were donated to local schools and communities under the “Water for Better Living” program.

Together, SCBX and the Royal Thai Air Force continue to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility by nurturing future generations through education, nutrition, and sustainable development.
