Siam Commercial Bank's ongoing support for Operation Smile empowers children's health

Siam Commercial Bank reaffirms its commitment to promoting good health for children affected by cleft lip and palate by contributing one million baht to Operation Smile Thailand. The donation, presented by Ms. Araya Phuphanich, First Executive Vice President of the CSR Function, to Mrs. Pornsiri Rojmeta, Director and Secretary of Operation Smile Thailand at Siam Commercial Bank Head Office, will support mobile medical units, surgical procedures, and the procurement of essential medical equipment. This initiative aims to provide underprivileged children with access to internationally standardized surgical procedures and ongoing care, enabling them to regain their smiles and lead fulfilling lives.

This marks the tenth consecutive year of collaboration between Siam Commercial Bank and Operation Smile, during which time 360 pediatric patients have received assistance. Each patient has to undergo multiple surgeries over a span of 10 years, emphasizing the long-term impact of this vital support.

Additionally, the bank launched the "SCB, Let’s Do Good" campaign, rallying employees to volunteer in crafting 500 "Punsuk Dolls" for the third consecutive year. These dolls serve as tokens of encouragement for young patients undergoing surgery for cleft lip and palate, distributed through various projects supported by Operation Smile Thailand.
