To uplift the security in using SCB EASY App in accordance with the government's policy requiring SCB EASY App account name to match with the SIM owner name.

          Customers who have not updated the SIM owner name to match with SCB EASY App account name or who have not submitted a request for an exemption, will not be able to use SCB EASY App as from 14 July 2025 onwards. However, customers can continue making transactions via ATM, CDM or at any Bank's branch as usual.

How to cancel the suspension of the use of SCB EASY App.

  1. Prepare the identity document and proof of mobile phone number ownership e.g. ownership confirmation letter, response message from USSD system or SMS from mobile network service provider, receipt or invoice.
  2. Contact SCB Call Center Tel. 02-777-7777 or any Bank's branch to request cancellation of the suspension of the use of the SCB EASY App.


Customers who wish to request an exemption may submit the documents at any Bank's branch. The eligible customers for exemption request and required documents for such request are as follows:


Family members (father, mother, children, siblings and spouse)

  • Proof of relationship issued by a government agency, e.g. house registration, birth certificate or marriage certificate; and
  • Proof of mobile phone number ownership (e.g. ownership confirmation letter, response message from USSD or SMS from mobile network service provider, receipt or invoice), issued within the past 1 month.


Individuals under legal care

  • For incompetent person or quasi-incompetent person: court order appointing a guardian or curator.
  • For persons with disabilities: disability ID card or certificate issued by a government agency.


Legal entities (organizations, companies, government agencies)

  • A letter from the organization/company/government agency stating the employee's name and mobile phone number, and confirming that the number is permitted to be used with the employee's SCB EASY App.
  • Proof of mobile phone number ownership (e.g. ownership confirmation letter, response message from USSD or SMS from mobile network service provider, receipt or invoice), issued within the past 1 month.
  • Company registration certificate issued by the Department of Business Development or a power of attorney for verifying the authorized signatory.


If you did not receive a notification via SCB EASY App on 8 July 2025, you do not need to take any action.
