The SCBX Group held a merit-making ceremony to mark the 100th day in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, in profound remembrance of Her Majesty’s immeasurable benevolence. The ceremony included Buddhist chanting and the release of 12 cattle and buffaloes, which were donated to the Royal Cattle-Buffalo Bank for Farmers project initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.

The event was presided over by Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong, Director of SCBX Public Company Limited and Chairman of the Board of Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), together with members of the boards of SCBX and SCB, executives, and employees. The ceremony took place at the SCB Head Office.

In commemoration of SCB’s 119th anniversary, the board, executives, and employees also held a merit-making ceremony featuring alms-offering to 120 monks, Buddhist chanting, and tributes to the statues of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) and Prince Mahisorn. These tributes honored the royal permission granted to establish SCB as the first Thai bank.

As the Bank enters its 120th year, it reaffirms its commitment to operating with integrity, transparency, and responsibility toward society and the environment. Guided by the principles of good governance, SCB will continue to contribute to Thailand’s sustainable economic development while standing alongside the community.
