In celebration of Thai Children’s Day 2024, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) presented a 5th “Our Gifts for Children” campaign and joined a Children’s Day 2024 event at the Royal Thai Air Force Wing 6, Don Mueang, Bangkok.

SCB has run “Our Gifts for Children” campaigns for five consecutive years, and once again SCBX executives and staff were invited to prepare Children’s Day gifts to be sent to children in schools in remote areas. To fulfil children’s wishes and promote a sense of caring and sharing among SCBX people, the children selected the gifts they wanted, and their wish lists were sent to SCB via the participating schools. For 2024, gifts were sent to 1,114 children in six schools, namely, Ban Thung Laung School and Ban Huay Khom School in Chiang Rai, Ban Na Yao Border Patrol Police School in Chachoengsao, Cognis Thai Border Patrol Police School in Sakhon Nakhon, Ban Samnak Oa Border Patrol Police School, and Maharaj 1 Border Patrol Police School in Songkhla. On this occasion, SCB Chief Executive Officer Kris Chantanotoke and First Executive Vice President, Head of the CSR Function Araya Phuphanich signed an extra-large Children’s Day card and sent off trucks to deliver the gifts from the SCB Head Office. SCB branches in the school areas sent representatives to present the gifts to the children during the Children’s Day events at the six schools.

SCB also joined the Children’s Day event hosted by the Royal Thai Air Force Wing 6, Don Mueang, Bangkok. The SCB booth presented an “SCB Saving Mission” board game to learn about smart spending through play, and how to distinguish between needs and wants to better manage their expenses and savings techniques. Among interested children and parents visiting the SCB booth were Air Chief Marshal (ACM) Punpakdee Pattanakul and the RTAF Housewife Association President Montira Pattanakul .

SCB continues to promote children and youth development with happiness and morale support to help them properly grow up as a valuable and competent force to further drive the country’s development.
