SCBX Group, through SCB, Empowers Youth to Create Green Innovations for Sustainability in the AI Era through the 20th “SCB Challenge” Project for Secondary and Vocational Students

The SCBX Group, through Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), is fostering youth potential and green innovation for sustainability in the AI era under the “SCB Challenge” project, now in its 20th year for secondary and vocational education levels. The initiative emphasizes 21th ‑century skill development through a competition of community/enterprise projects aligned with ESG principles, leveraging science, technology, and innovation. It offers young participants the chance to showcase talent, strengthen teamwork, gain practical experience, and apply knowledge to create sustainable solutions for communities and businesses.


This year, 473 projects from 224 institutions were submitted. Twenty were shortlisted for intensive workshops with guidance from project mentors, researchers, and experts from the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC). Eight outstanding projects advanced to the finals:

Secondary Education

  • Flood forecast and warning using deep learning by Municipal School 6, Chiang Rai
  • Cricket Home: smart cricket farming with electronic nose technology to minimize production losses and promote environmental sustainability by Princess Chulabhorn Science High School, Phitsanulok
  • AI‑WIDRS: real‑time wildlife detection and alert system for vulnerable community zones by Sriyanusorn School, Chanthaburi
  • Wolffia Cleaner System: intelligent solution for managing dead Wolffia by Triam Udom Suksa Pattanakarn Pathum Thani School


Vocational Education

  • Fish fry size sorting and counting machine by Kumphawapi Vocational College, Udon Thani
  • KUD KUT QUEEN: AI‑powered mangosteen size and ripeness sorting machine by Phatthalung Technical College
  • HKA: semi‑automatic CPM rehabilitation device for hips, knees, and ankle joints by Amnat Charoen Technical College
  • Wheelchair attachment device for patient mobility at Mae Ai Hospital by Fang Vocational College, Chiang Mai
  • Wolffia Cleaner System: intelligent solution for managing dead Wolffia — Triam Udom Suksa Pattanakarn Pathum Thani School
