SCBX Group through SCB Empowers Primary School Youth Through the 20th annual “SCB Challenge” Art Competition – Regional Qualifying Rounds
The SCBX Group, through Siam Commercial Bank PCL (SCB), continues its commitment to youth development and lifelong learning by organizing the 20th annual “SCB Challenge.” This nationwide art competition encourages primary school students to express imagination and creativity while building essential skills for the future.
This year, 159 teams from across Thailand participated in the regional qualifying rounds, each team consisting of four students from mixed grade levels (Primary 1–6). The competition was held under the inspiring theme: “SCB Challengers: Seizing the Moment, Creating Opportunities, Shaping the Future.”
The competition is more than an art contest. It integrates workshops led by expert speakers under the topic “Art for Developing 21th Century Skills.” Participants gained experience in critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration. Each team collaborated to paint a 2x3 meter canvas, expressing imagination, teamwork, and the power of learning.
In addition, financial literacy sessions introduced students to money management and saving habits, with teachers encouraged to extend these lessons in their schools.
From the qualifying rounds held in four regions: Central, Northern, Southern, and Northeastern, 24 teams advanced to the final round.
Regional Finalists
Central Region: Mahisorn Hall, SCB Head Office
