SCB 10X Partners with Office of the Education Council to Deploy Typhoon AI for Advancing Thai Education and Preparing for PISA 2025

          Bangkok, 20 August 2025 – SCB 10X, the disruptive technology investment arm of SCBX Group, continues its mission to build a strong foundation for AI that delivers a positive impact for Thailand. As part of its commitment to sustainable technology development through collaboration with the public and private sectors, SCB 10X has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Office of the Education Council (OEC) to enhance students’ learning outcomes by integrating the Typhoon AI model into a new educational application called “RISA Chatbot” which has helped over 9,700 students from over 300 schools across 74 provinces nationwide. This collaboration aims to strengthen Thai students’ learning skills, particularly in preparation for the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2025.

          “The Ministry of Education places great importance on adopting technology to elevate the quality of education, especially artificial intelligence, which is increasingly relevant across sectors. Leveraging AI in educational assessment can increase speed, reduce teachers’ workload, and improve overall efficiency. The OEC is driving the ‘AI for Education’ initiative to deliver tangible outcomes, including applying AI in the PISA assessment framework. This is an important step toward reducing educational inequality and ensuring all learners have equitable access to quality education.” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prawit Erawan, Secretary-General of the Office of the Education Council.
