“Clean Water from SCB” delivered to Ban Tha Phang School in Prachuap Khiri Khan to improve the quality of life for people in nearby communities

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) and the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) recently delivered a drinking water system to Ban Tha Phang School in Tambon Bo Nok, Amphoe Mueang, Prachuap Khiri Khan as part of a “Clean Water from SCB” project to develop water systems in communities lacking clean drinking water. The system comprises two water tanks with a capacity of 2,000 liters each, a structure housing a water filtration system, and a solar cell system for generating electricity for pumping water into the water filtration system and producing drinking water. The system will benefit students and teachers at the school and nearby communities by providing a clean drinking water supply and help the school save the cost of buying drinking water. The communities will assign a committee to further take care of the system and maintain the project. On this occasion, SCB also presented 215 sets of educational supplies to the students at Ban Tha Phang School and books and bookshelves to the school’s library.

Joining in the system delivery at the school were RTAF Director of the Office of Policy and Plans Directorate of Civil Affairs Air Vice Marshal Niroj Jampadaeng ; SCB Senior Vice President in charge of CSR projects Saksit Pitipongsoonthorn ; and SCB Prachuap Khiri Khan Branch Manager Montree Kaewboworn .
