SCBX Group through SCB Donates Bags to Support National Blood Centre and Promote Blood Donations to Replenish Reserves

On April 2, 2026, to commemorate the birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Executive Vice President of the Thai Red Cross Society, SCBX Group, through Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), donated 500 reusable shopping bags to the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society. These bags were given to blood donors as part of the initiative to strengthen the national blood reserve for patients across the country.

Beyond supporting the blood donation mission, the initiative also promotes environmental responsibility by encouraging the reuse of bags, reducing plastic consumption, and making more efficient use of resources. The donation was received by Ms. Pavinee Saengphatranet, Advisor on Operations Planning and Human Resource Development in Blood Procurement at the National Blood Centre.

SCBX Group has been a long-standing partner of the National Blood Centre since 1996, consistently supporting efforts to secure sufficient blood supplies for hospitals nationwide. This commitment has helped increase opportunities to save lives and sustainably improve the quality of life for people across Thailand.

On this occasion, 892 individuals participated in the blood donation drive at the National Blood Centre. Of these, 806 successfully donated, yielding a total of 322,400 cc of blood—enough to help save the lives of approximately 2,418 patients.
