SCB offers a service to accept inward bills for collection, as well as shipping documents couriered from the remitting bank, which may be released once you comply with the terms and conditions specified in the documents.
In order to send documents to SCB via the remitting bank, the exporter should be informed of SCB's address as follows:

Once SCB has received the documents, you are required to comply with the terms and conditions in exchange for the shipping documents. Typically, there are two types of conditions:
  • Documents against Payment (D/P): requires the importer to pay the amount of the draft at sight.
  • Documents against Acceptance (D/A): requires the importer to accept the amount of the draft and make payment by the maturity date.

Remark:
1 In the event that SCB receives incoming documents before 4:00 p.m., SCB informs the results of document inspections, and you can receive the documents within the next business day.
