SCB helps increase cardiac arrest survival rate by donating defibrillators in honor of the 125th anniversary of the Thai Red Cross
Realizing the importance of the well-being and living quality of the Thai people, Siam Commercial Bank recently supported the Thai Red Cross in holding an activity for a good cause under the “Defibrillators Project for Thais” on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the Thai Red Cross. The event sought to raise funds for the purchase of Automated External Defibrillators (AED), which will be used to help save the lives of those suffering sudden cardiac arrest and will be distributed to every region in Thailand. A Health event was also held to promote exercise among Thai people for their better and stronger health and a longer life, which will help reduce medical bills. SCB supported the “125 Years and Six Reigns Run and Walk Rally”, also known as the “Defibrillator Run”, at the Thai Red Cross, Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital and nearby areas and set up a booth to raise funds for the purchase of AEDs.
