SCB Executive Vice President and Head of the Mortgage Business Division Pikun Srimahunt said it is the first time the Bank has matched mortgage and SSME loans to cater to those SME owners seeking to buy a commercial building and obtain enough capital to set up or expand their business, and with the added convenience of obtaining the loans with a single credit application. Under the package, the Bank will offer a combined loan amount of up to 150% loan-to-value (LTV) to let small entrepreneurs fulfill their business goals. “We are confident this program will help stimulate the mortgage and SSME loan markets and draw a good response from our clients,” she said.

SCB Executive Vice President and Head of the SSME Business Division Sanannart Kulpaisantham said the number of small entrepreneurs has increased, resulting in greater demand for SSME loans. The Bank therefore aims to expand the SSME loan market in provincial areas this year. “The dual loan package will provide our clients with the convenience of a single loan application procedure, reducing the amount of paperwork and time required and allowing them to receive enough money to immediately establish their business.”

To seek the loan package Khun Sanannart said that clients are required to have around 3-5 years of experience in management of the business they want to conduct. Successful applicants can obtain SSME loan amounts of up to 5 million baht.
