Job Skills Training

SCB provides extensive training and development for new and existing employees. Our new recruits are put through comprehensive job skills training programs to ensure they are able to perform their jobs most effectively. Our entry level programs include;

Credit Analyst Program

SME/Corporate Banking This Program is an intensive 12-month program comprising 3 phases: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. After completing each phase, you will work in real situations with real clients - analyzing information, solving problems and servicing clients as part of a team. Your skills as a Credit Analyst will develop rapidly through working with experienced colleagues and receiving regular coaching and feedback.

Teller Trainee Program

The Teller Trainee Program includes 30 days of intensive classroom training, alternating with on-the-job training at Branch Simulations. Trainees are exposed to branch operations and procedures, have the opportunity to practice new skills as well as, work in a real sales and service environment. The Program prepares our Tellers to efficiently service customers at one of our 900 branches around the country.

Credit Risk Trainee Program

This Program is a 12-month training program consisting of classroom and on-the-job training with our Risk Management Group. Trainees have the opportunity to learn about the Bank's credit products and services, procedures as well as, rotate to relevant business units. This program prepares our Trainees to become Credit Officers.
